Notting Hill

The brief for this project was to dig down for a useable basement and at the same time to flood the house with as much light as possible.  This glass box extension with Crittall windows gave the property the most wonderful bright, airy and sleek feel.  By night it looked particularly impressive with the lit garden and clever, hidden interior lighting reflecting off the glass.

The interior detailing needed to be pared back and restful.  Earthy tones, polished plaster and clever storage units were used to keep the clean, modern lines running throughout the project.

Using some creative new materials and some well placed bespoke and antique furniture, it became a real 'wow' house. An oasis of calm in bustling West London. It was an absolute joy to work on.
